General update:
Mobile app development
It’s been 8 long months of hard development work since the last update. Since Tubbly v2.5 we have had 7 new releases of Tubbly. Many new features have been implemented, here is the list of the major updates:
- Badges for Achievements (v2.6)
- Ability to delete the account (v2.7)
- Enhanced log-in and location (v2.8)
- Ranking, reorganised menu, ENG language, settings (v2.9)
- Featured reward, Casper Network integration (v2.10)
- Re-branding, Aleph Zero integration (L1 & L2) (v2.11)
- Profile module, Collected tokens module (v2.12)
Upcoming release (v2.13):
- Further blockchain integration (Fungible token AirDrops)
- Friends module (find and invite friends, see friend’s profile, friend leaderboards)
- Nicknames
Upcoming release (v2.14):
- Push notifications
- New currency (Gems) exchangeable for resetting the spots limit
Tubbly Acceleration & Grants
This year has been full of successes with regards to the acceleration of Tubbly. It’s not just some new badges on our decks. It’s a tremendous opportunity for us to expand our network and grow our team thanks to the funds from the grant programs.
Aleph Zero Ecosystem Funding Program
We became participants in the EFP in April. Since we joined, we proved to be a solid partner in building the Aleph Zero ecosystem. That led us to further expand our partnership with Aleph Zero and continue to make Tubbly an integrated part of the ecosystem.
Casper Grant Accelerata Program
In May Tubbly was accepted for the acceleration by Casper Association. This made Tubbly integrate one more chain into the app. Starting a new module, the AirDrop module. The grant has been concluded this week.
Google Cloud for Startups
We’re still in the Google Cloud for Startups (Scale tier) until the end of 2024. We’re currently working with Google on expanding the acceleration.
Team growth
With all the grants Tubbly has committed to, it’s been a natural move to expand our team, to keep the momentum going. We have welcomed 4 more team members. The Tubbly team now counts 9 people. The new members took the positions of:
- 2 Frontend Developers
- 1 Junior Marketing Specialist
- 1 Junior Business Development Specialist
$AZERO Airdrop
On September 5th, Tubbly held its first AZERO token airdrop, where Tubbly users could collect 1-3 AZERO tokens daily. This event brought over 1,000 new users to Tubbly within two days.
Blockchain integration
The effects of our integrations can be observed on the Dapp Radar and our smart contracts are at the top in terms of the transactions/deploys on both Casper Network and Aleph Zero.
