At Tubbly, our mission has always been to get people moving and reward them for it. We're proud to have built a community of over 120,000 users who are walking their way to better health and rewards. Being a part of the Web3 space isn't just about using existing technology; it's about helping to build what's next.

That's why we were honored when the Blanksquare team invited us to be the very first pilot partner to integrate their new privacy stack, Shielder.

Our goal was simple: to take an early, cutting-edge piece of privacy technology and battle-test it in a real-world environment. With our massive, active user base, Tubbly was the perfect candidate to see how the Shielder-SDK would perform at scale and identify any potential client-side difficulties before its public launch.

The Challenge: Integrating Early-Stage Tech

Let's be candid: integrating any V0.1 product into an application with over 100,000 users is a high-stakes challenge. We weren't just testing a feature in a lab; we were integrating it into the core wallet infrastructure of our live app. We were specifically looking for any potential bottlenecks, performance lags, or integration hurdles that can only be found with a large, diverse user base on thousands of different devices.

We were, in essence, checking to see if it would "blow up."

We are thrilled to report that it was a resounding success.

The Experience: Seamless Integration, Powerful Support

Our development team’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Even for a very early-stage version, we were impressed by how smooth the integration process was. Two things stood out as particularly "convenient solutions" that made this possible:

  1. A Clean, Dev-Friendly SDK: The Shielder-SDK was the star of the show. On-chain privacy and zero-knowledge proofs are notoriously complex, but the SDK masterfully abstracted this complexity away. Our developers were able to focus on the integration flow and UI, not on the underlying cryptography. This is exactly what a good SDK should do, and Shielder nailed it.
  2. Incredible, Hands-On Support: As a pilot partner, we expected a few bumps. What made the difference was the Blanksquare team. They were exceptionally responsive, working with us as true partners. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, turning potential roadblocks into minor speedbumps.

This partnership allowed us to provide critical, real-world feedback to the Blanksquare team, helping them stress-test their infrastructure and validate their design choices.

What's Next?

Our pilot integration with Shielder was never about rolling out an immediate user-facing feature. It was about something more important: helping to build and validate the foundational privacy infrastructure that the entire Web3 ecosystem will one day rely on.

We successfully proved that Shielder's technology is not only robust but also ready for real-world application.

Our experience was fantastic with an early version, and we can only imagine how much more seamless the integration process must be with the latest releases. This successful pilot lays the groundwork for Tubbly to explore powerful new privacy features for our users in the future.

We’re proud to have been a part of Shielder's journey and are excited to see how they continue to build the future of on-chain privacy.
